I'm guessing it's the same as my Crusader II:

Anilam DRO Scale Pinout of Bendix 10-6 connector

PIN OUTS of 1 axis
....A - Channel 1
....B - Channel 2
....C - +5 Volts
....D - Ground
....E - Shield Ground
....F - Marker pulse

Subject: [Emc-users] Anilam A10 Encoder Pinouts

Hi all. I'm looking to retrofit my SuperMax controlled by an Anilam
Crusader M to LinuxCNC. I saw a post on this mailing list back in '09
regarding the pinouts for the A10 linear encoder. I looked up the SENC125
and between the info below it seems straight fwd. But, I was wondering if
anyone had the pinouts for the A10, so I wouldn't be left guessing? I've
looked around for this pretty hard and am struggling. This morning on the
way into work I called Jerry at Anilam (847.490.7828x4828) only to find he
left for vacation TODAY and returns on 8/20. I don't need the info right
away and can wait (Too many projects right now), but I'd like to put this
piece of info to bed and move onto the next steps. I have the A10 version
w/ the RED Sticker. Apparently, there were different colors.

As far as the conversion goes, I have bought a D525MW, installed 2.5.0
(Need to upgrade!) and need to go from there. I've run down one conversion
of a Lagun where he connected the existing servo's. that was sweet because
I can easily wire into the5i25/7i77 Mesa combo I bought. Looks straight
forward, other than I'm a noob to LinuxCNC and Mesa.

I consolidated the manual for the SENC 125 and Pat's info on
http://www.ijohnsen.com/blog/archives/193 for future reference (so I don't
forget or misplace it!). Also, there are some pix and a video on the site.

Thanks,
Mark Johnsen

Pat;
I have the a SENC 125 T/E linear encoder supplied with a Anilam DRO.
My wire colors are all different but the 5th wire is the R channel.
I think they are sending position reference but haven't checked it out yet.
It is on pin 8 of the 9 pin D connector.

Maybe this will help
    Don
