Ah, what a Catch-22. I created my present gmail account because recently my local ISP blacklisted the server of this mail list and began blocking the LinuxCNC maillist traffic I have been receiving without fail for the past six years. So now that I can again correspond on the mail list, I can't join the forum. It's a world gone mad:-) But wait, there's more. This afternoon, some 24 hours after I unsuccessfully tried to register, I received three messages (one for each of my browser tests) telling me my registration was pending, all of them addressed to my supposedly banned gmail account! And this evening I received confirmation that I am now a "new user". All's well that end's well, but.... I hope you have been confirmed as well.
