Also if the watchdog has bitten that means the communication with the CPLD is 
not working. The EEPROM is not used so it does not matter whats in it


The hardware and my latest bitfile has been verified here with a analog and 
digital loopback so it looks like The BSPI driver or 7I65 comp have gotten 
broken by some fairly recent change in LinuxCNC
