Greetings;

I have some very good halscope traces of it running back and from 60 rpm to
600 rpm (s60-s600 in a program loop). Heck, it even sounds good!

However, I am only getting maybe 30 rpm at the 60 time, and 250-300 rpm for
the higher speed s600 time, and every time I adjust the pwmgen.0.scale to
crank it up, then pid.0.FF0 needs to come down to restore the essentially
zero error condition as cruising speed. And I wind up back at about half
the requested speed.

The encoders X4 mode is turned off, and its encoder.0.position-scale is set
to 39.00 because that is how many slots the wheel has. At s600, I should
see an index pulse every 100 milliseconds, but its more like 320
milliseconds.

So where is the appropriate scale knob to adjust?

Or,,,  is this the problem?

net spindle-cmd motion.spindle-speed-out-rps limit2.0.in

And I need to switch off the -rps and start all over again?

That I can try, back later.

Thanks.

Cheers, Gene
