Thank you, all the suggestions are good advice. I will attempt as many as I can to get the problem solved starting with a enclosure just for the VFD. This will also allow me to isolate the 220v. The main control box can all be powered with 110v.
Are VFD's less noisy if they are fed 3 phase? I would think they might be because of the switching needed to generate the 3rd phase if only fed single phase?
