Are you sure you have the right pins? (0 through 3 are on the bottom edge of 
the 7I76)

I say ths because we had a customer call a day or so ago and say the
7I77 inputs did not work (7I77 has the same digital I/O as 7I76) and he had 
his input wires connected to the top pins (which are outputs)


Also do you have the right hal pins?
they will be something like hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.input-01
