I have the toolchanger set up to run completly with classicladder. At the moment I have tested it manually using pyvcp buttons to execute the changer manually. Now I am at the point where I would like to execute the changer via a program or mdi command.
Reading the documentation in my thought process of how it should work is this: I type t06 in the mdi iocontrol.0.tool-prep-number => outputs value 6 iocontrol.0.tool-change => closes a coil or rising or falling contact (i have tried all three. Classicladder reads the value of 6 from iocontrol.0.tool-prep-number or iocontrol.0.tool-number as 6 classicladder operates the tool change to tool 6 Classicladder toolchange complete and closes coil tied to iocontrol.0.tool-prepared Now toolchange is complete. Am i thinking about this wrong? is the output of iocontrol.0.tool-number and iocontrol.0.tool-prep-number only there momentarily and I dont see it?
