That's especially nice when you can find one dirt cheap at a thrift store. However, I have 5 or 6 routers with WiFi that just happen to be versions of their model that for various reasons can't be used with replacement firmware. Mostly it's due to not enough flash RAM for the firmware and nobody willing to put together a feature reduced version that would fit. I'd like to have them turned into one trick ponies that only work as wireless converters where the wireless link simply logs into an access point and works like a plain old switch.
