There isn't a lot to it, you could paste this:
http://git.linuxcnc.org/gitweb?p=linuxcnc.git;a=blob;f=src/hal/components/lincurve.comp;h=4335245a14c5aa6a793f5c12bfba84cde40c76b6;hb=HEAD
into a file called lincurve.comp and then comp --install it.
