The largest files I've used were over 400k lines of code (ran on a Fanuc control not Linuxcnc). The largest on Linuxcnc was around 300k. Both were doing 2.5-D engraving of large amounts of text. The largest was an entire page from the Bible blown up to 4ft wide and 6ft tall.
