Stuart; Those pics give me flashbacks of S100 bus hardware. Could be worse - my Hurco came with a Ultimax II (since upgraded with a complete Max32 card set) which used IIRC Intel multi bus which had an 8 bit ISA card connector and (I think) an S100 on the same card. I was shopping for a CNC Mill with dead control for an LCNC retrofit when I found this running low hour gem for near scrap cost. I used Hurco Conversational at a prior employer and know its worth keeping as is until I have a major control failure. I have other machines lined up which will become my LCNC machines. Its all a question of time and money, and, as usual, I'm short on both.
