It actually is virtually unchanged from its original configuration. I think I actually drilled and tapped four 1/4 inch holes, one 3/16 hole and four 6-32. When I park the ball nut on the right end of the lead screw and "release" it from the apron the lathe is just as manual as it ever was. I feel like about the most fortunate hobby machine hacker in the world to have had the opportunity to put this old machine into a good home with all the advantages of a new CNC machine with virtually none of the expense.
