------------------ More than what's needed just to connect up the old control panel. The monitor (if I can find a 9" 4:3 ratio color SVGA LCD) will show the video out from the PC controlling the machine so the 4 line LCD control on this device would be a useless extra for this application. MPG encoder inputs? The old panel has buttons for that and I assume LCNC can jog using keyboard inputs... For this mill I have a need for hardware to control three, just three, DC brush type servo motors and get position information from three linear scales. It does not need equipment that can also run BLDC, steppers and three other types of motors. In other words, my desire is to apply the KISS principle to this by putting nothing into it that will not be used in its operation. So, servo drivers that run the type of motors I have and just the type of motors I have? Think Chevrolet, not Cadillac! Brushed DC servos, not brushed DC servos AND steppers AND this AND that AND more excess functions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get 100% visibility into Java/.NET code with AppDynamics Lite!
