True, Andy, but there is still copyright law in most locales, and the law 
here explicitly says to enforce it or lose it.

Demand, in no uncertain terms, that such "borrowed" material either carries 
the original copyright notice and credits by borrowing the piece in its 
entirety which should include the applicable license, or be taken down.  
IMO every one of you with a dog/blog in this fight needs to do that.

I think the law more than gives you folks the rights to do so.  And 
linuxcnc will grow in stature when you do enforce the license you used.  
You will get the attention of some that perceive this as a bunch of 
amateurs whose code is not worth considering for "professional quality" 
work.

I happen to dis-agree, but I'm still just an old fart using a toothpick to 
help row this boat.
