However, you can disable its wireless port and install a WRT54G (about half the cost of an RPi on eBay) with OpenWRT as your AP. You probably want to configure the WRT with a static IP address. Then, running it in AP mode, you simply connect one of its LAN ports via ethernet to the CE router.
