I don't believe stepconf works on the BeagleBone right now, but Chris Morley is currently working on a bunch of updates, including support for the BeagleBone. I'm also working on refactoring and cleaning up a bunch of the BeagleBone specific drivers that will make it much easier for anyone (human or machine) to generate a working configuration! :) -- Charles Steinkuehler char...@steinkuehler.net
