Usually we can wade across the Current River by negotiating
the shallow spots, and not get more than knee deep anywhere 
across.
When it was raging, it rose at least 15 feet, and I was slightly
worried we might have to retreat to higher ground and
abandon the cabin.  I don't know if they have EVER had that
much rain in such a short period before.  We went floating
later after things calmed down, and we lost a rented
canoe in a pile of tree trunks at one bend.
