all, I have an application in which I would like to use linuxcnc as the motion controller to control a robot/machine. all the moves would be determined by a python program that would be running as a HAL user space program. The question I have is is it possible to have linuxcnc not open any GUI at all since the python program will be commanding all the movements without the need for anyone to ever see the GUI? this application would likely have linuxcnc running on a beaglebone without a monitor (linuxcnc run on boot) I appreciate any help/direction you guys can provide on this matter. thanks.
