Maybe someone here has experience with solving 1d cutting problem? The task will be to cut parts by defined demand table with required lengths and quantities. This has to be done in real-time: stock is measured on conveyor and it can appear as several stock parts at once.
I think I need some working and suitable 1D cutting solver. From this point I will be able to measure stock parts, plan and program cutting actions.
