Because I'm dumb and haven't yet looked at man motion?

I just made a trip to my local radio shack, but struck out on small 
shielded flexible cable, so I guess I'll have to wire them up with 24 
gauge speaker wire.  So thats settled, next is to find a pair of parport 
inputs in hal.  Hot, pressure is up, muggy, so I'm not sure it will get 
done today yet.  I have to disconnect the driver box & pull it off the 
high shelf and make provisions to get the additional signal I/O thru the 
box walls.  So live testing is difficult.
