It _might_ be easier to emulate a 7i43 Mesa device instead, the
advantage being that both the LinuxCNC driver code and the FPGA code
are available.
(Actually, given the price of the 7i43 it might be better to use an
actual 7i43 and change the FPGA code to suit your needs)
