I've got a student working on an automation project that includes a 5i25 with two 7i76 boards. He needs five stepgens and 32 digital I/O. We can't get pncconf to create a hal file with digital outs from the second 7i76. Pncconf creates smart serial tabs for configuring both 7i76's, but does not seem to put any digital I/O's for the second 7i76 in the hal file. The .pncconf does not show them either, and so they don't show when pncconf is reopened. This is under 2.7.0~pre1.
We are perfectly happy to hand edit the hal file, but do not know the syntax for specifying the second 7i76. Random (educated) guesses have not been successful. The sticker on the 5i25 indicates it is loaded with 7i76x2.BIT. I suspect we need to change the sserial_port_0=0000xxxx config, but guessing hasn't gotten us there. Any secrets (or pointers to documentation) to share?
