Shameless promotion here .... I use Synergy, not cheap but not really expensive either. Learning curve is steep; at least it was for me. I did hear about a guy who got the demo and was very productive within the 30 days. Naturally, he had prior 3D experience. Maybe I'm just feeling my age ... only a few years behind Gene.
