By carefully drilling so that "drywall screws" only engage about 15 thou worth of mdf, it seems they will work nicely. Bottom sections are GO2'd to the housing, a drop of GO2 (aka goop) in the middle of the semi- circle, set the capacitor in the semi-circle, set an identically cut piece of mdf over the top and install a 2.5" drywall screw down thru the center leg.
So I don't feel like they will go anyplace until I remove the mdf cap and pry then out of the 1 drop of GO2 which will keep them from sliding endways in the holders. I did the gedit install, and that works. And I just tried to add a circle cut to the bottom of the code that cut those mdf parts, worked perfectly for a 0.00 to 0.00 when I used "send all". Compared to 1.2, this is at least as useful as bottled beer. A very welcome addition to anyone's "bag of tricks" Thank you very much.
