The 7i76 is powered via DB25 cable. The CR1 LED lights up.
Cannot try at the moment but while reading in the 7i76 manual on page 13 I
found:
"VIN power must be present for the 7i76 field I/O to be detected and operate"
In other words the 7i76 isn't recongnised by the 5i25 without VIN powered?
Thats correct, the field I/O will not be present unless VIN is supplied
(and Vfield is present and the range of 5 to 32 V)
