"sudo comp --install ..." will install some component or kinematics
module or whatever, if you have installed LinuxCNC from package. That
requires linuxcnc-dev package to be installed as well.
Since you mention "master" it is not clear to me, if you have
installed buildbot packages (there is also -dev package created) or
you built from source by yourself. IIRC if you built from source, then
you simply have to cd to /src and run "make" to include added
components.
