Peter - dmesg dump at: http://pastebin.com/2uZJV2Gi
but the core is an inconsistent Module Descriptor What led me to believe Mesaflash was important is that when I had it installed, and prior a force removal, it would load just after the RTAI[math] section and give two lines of segmentation faults. Seemed logical at the time that perhaps it was trying to perform some form of lookup (like probe_parport). May have just been coincidental. Additionally, the sample files don't include a 'loadrt epp' reference, per the man pages - is this necessary? Thanks, Ted.
