Thanks Ray, but no tool comp in use and only using T1 to make the backplot tool the right size. I home by electrical contact in most cases and write gcode referencing where ever as 0,0,0,0 (there is a rotary table occasionally installed) Every time I try to enable tool dia comp (I forget the number of the Gcode now) it always complains there is not enough room in the first move attempt to make the needed correction. Even if I position it several inches away from the work piece before I issued it. So I have never used it. For me, its headache I don't have a pill for, so I write tool diameter compensation into my programs.
