Does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive CAM package for turning? We use Sheetcam and (to a lesser extent) MeshCAM for milling and jet cutting toolpaths. We are working on a lathe retrofit and would like to find a good standalone CAM package that can generate lathe toolpaths. The facility where this lathe will ultimately end up (http://maker-works.com) may, or may not, be eligible for educational pricing. Also, if there are no < $500usd options what are the next best options in terms of functionality/$ ?
