I was digging through my collection of stuff and my eye set upon a
rotary table with an X/Y integrated into it, with a square plate full of
threaded holes. Doesn't come off, it's built into the table.

Then a thought happened, I could build an addon for my Monarch 12CK
lathe that clamps to the ways and holds this table. Put three motors on
it and I'd have a three axis setup capable of carrying several tools.

The software setup would be 'interesting' to say the least. Add a
disconnectable method of precision rotating the lathe's spindle and it
could do... lots of things.

Keeping things simpler would be to just mount an X/Y and run the spindle
on/off manually.
