You could sandblast the aluminum surfaces you need to be flat black then 
anodize them with a good black dye specifically made for anodizing.

Any water based food coloring or fabric dye will work for anodizing but 
blacks tend to look a bit greenish, thus the specially formulated 
anodizing black.

If someone would develop a DIY Vantablack coating process... Vantablack 
is neat stuff, the blackest substance ever made. Something to do with 
carbon nanotubes and would make a perfect antireflection coating for the 
inside of telescope tubes and camera parts.
