The controller box has ONE RS232C port. The machine has rapids up to 150 inches per minute and a 1HP 6,000+ RPM DC spindle motor, which has a maximum setting of 5,000 (so it's never stressed to max). I very much doubt speed will be a problem. So far all I can find on Animatics gear is their newer Smartmotors that each have built in control/interface. Either no info for their earlier products was ever online or the company has done a very good job of getting it removed. Some companies, especially industrial/technical ones, spend a lot of time/effort/money "scrubbing the web" of all information on their discontinued products. --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. http://www.avast.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming The Go Parallel Website, sponsored by Intel and developed in partnership with Slashdot Media, is your hub for all things parallel software development, from weekly thought leadership blogs to news, videos, case studies, tutorials and more.
