I noticed the output spec was 33 VAC, so you might need to find a VFD 
that is not only high frequency but also low voltage. I wonder how they 
can get a high RPM from such a low voltage. It must be an induction motor?

It seems Danfoss drives tend to be high speed. Here is a 240 Volt input, 
1000 Hz out unit:

If you only have 120 Volts, there are ways to double it, but I would go 
with 240 if you can. The output voltage can be turned down by setting 
parameters.
