This is not yet easy, unfortunately.

If you want to run LinuxCNC on Ubuntu 14.04, the main obstacle to 
overcome will be to produce a realtime kernel (RTAI or RT-Preempt). 
After that, building linuxcnc for that platform should be relatively easy.
