If these are a popular retrofit candidate in points East of here, I am wondering if there might be people willing to amortise the costs of me making some custom castings? I am thinking of a replacement casting for the feeds box to mount a motor and thrust bearings, an apron casting and possibly a new top-slide with more room for a ball-nut? After the Harrison retrofit I am sold on custom castings for retrofits, and they can be surprisingly affordable. (I think I paid £250 all-in for 5 castings on the Harrison) -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming The Go Parallel Website, sponsored by Intel and developed in partnership with Slashdot Media, is your hub for all things parallel software development, from weekly thought leadership blogs to news, videos, case studies, tutorials and more.
