Hello to all! First of all, a big thank you because without all the people involved (developers and users) we wouldn't be able to make things like this.
As some of you know we've been working on an induction heating machine for camshafts and today I can show you a lot of progress. This goes specially to Jon Elso who was really excited about seeing the machine moving. Here are some pics of the final arrangement of the main control cabinet. This is an outside view: http://postimg.org/image/6loi7fje7/ http://postimg.org/image/9njvv4lwv/ And the mess inside: http://postimg.org/image/za61oeay7/ Here there is a pic of the reduction for the rotation of the part with the encoder mounted: http://postimg.org/image/xuzvlxkhb/ And finally some quality video footage of the axis moving. I'm going to upload another one with the A axis rotating too in a few minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=th4flerlhoI I hope you enjoy it. Next week we're going to be finishing the water circuit for the coolant and the machine is going to be up and ready for work! -- *Leonardo Marsaglia*. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming The Go Parallel Website, sponsored by Intel and developed in partnership with Slashdot Media, is your hub for all things parallel software development, from weekly thought leadership blogs to news, videos, case studies, tutorials and more.
