Duh, ok!  Perhaps another stupid question.  I want to get the latest 2.7 branch 
to mod.  
From : "Work with branches" section of this link:

git checkout -b v2.7_branch origin/v2.7_branch tells me “fatal: Not a valid 
object name: ‘origin/v2.7_branch’.”

Is this because it isn’t called 2.7_branch?  And how do I see a list of 
branches?
