The encoder is on the motor and is effectively 1000 pulses per rev
(quadrature) of the motor. The spindle is connected to the motor via a 2:1
toothed belt reduction so there are 2000 pulses per rev of the spindle.
That makes the angular resolution of the spindle to be 360/2000 degrees or
0.18 degrees.
