Jon; I have some wall warts for a defunct portable phone charger base that measures, no load, 13.1 volts. I am considering using one of them for the 12 volts your pwm servo amp needs.
This is not enough overvoltage to make a 7812 work, and if the logic draw is 100 mills I expect it will sag to below 13 volts. Is this usable as is?
