have you compared the 2? i havent. I have seen slow <1mm/min 3phase 
servos chug instead of creep. ( Teco & yaskawa & panasonic on sink EDMS 
with 18"x12"x9" strokes, 400Watts. we changed drives as a way to debig 
what the heck was causing the lurching motion. Taiwan 2007 . going back 
to dc motors and copley 423 drives made it all nice again. )
