Its to move that mahogany bar on the rear edge of the jig, in and against the end of the board, it serves to locate the end of the board in the Y axis as I am pulling the maple clamp bar down to hold it. But I can't leave it there because I am carving the saw marks off the end of the board, which would nicely demolish the locator bar, so when I'm done clamping the board, the bar, by way of the black hose coupling the motors gear to the bar, is rolled to the rear about 165 degrees, getting the bar, and the probe contacts on that bar, out of harms way. But I have to move the head up a couple inches from swinging room clearace All under a M7-M9 control in the code. Does that do it? I could shoot a movie, but my digital Hi8 runs about a half a gigabyte a minute. Kino can smunch that quite a bit though.
