My never had any experience with any of them impression is that any spindle of more than 650 Watts of input power, needs to be water cooled. I can't imagine how hot the 7hp rated motor would be getting in 20 minutes runtime with only air cooling. And don't forget, the air cooling generally at least doubles the noise level. Much less noise from a small pump & a 30 gallon tank of deionized water on continuous treatment by running some of the water thru a deionizer cartridge, bypassing the spindle motor with perhaps 5% of the flow by running it thru a smallish culligan deionizer tank on its way back to the storage container. Plumbing maintenance drops to 1% of what it would take without it. Even if the device being cooled by the water flowing through it is sitting 7.2 kilovolts and change from ground like it was in our old GE transmitter we shut off forever at the end of June 2008.
