Chris, If your CR2032 battery is showing below 3 VDC, it's toast. I'm 99.99% sure that's the cause of your problems. They'll drain a lot faster if your CPU box is not plugged in to keep the motherboard powered up, because it'll draw on the battery rather than house current to keep the settings in your CMOS.
