Very likely.

I spent some time last week cleaning out my mothers Windows 10 equipped 
laptop remotely via Teamviewer to remove 10+ chunks of Malware that 
infected it.   The malware was really scrambling the OS.   However, I 
was surprised how well the OS recovered after I got the nasties out of 
the laptop.
Still, Windows 10 is FAR from secure.   Some people consider Windows 10 
itself to be malware with all of its phone home, data collection 
"features".  :-(
