Using G76, an oddball is the same amount of coding work as a 4-52. Main 
problem in stuff that small is the tip profile of the tool.  I have some 
stuff in my little mill that is approximately 7/8 diameter by 50 tpi, 
both inside and outside cut on my 7x12. Trapping the ball nuts for the 
teeny ball screws driving the table X-Y as they are not flanged.  I 
could just as easily have made them 75 tpi but that would have made the 
fit tolerance vanishingly tight.
