I have NEVER had one that had a 26th cable position. I make a DB25 to dual-row .1" 26-position IDC header cable to daisy-chain two of my universal stepper controllers. I've made these since 2002, and always had to trim the 26th wire off the cable to fit the DB25 end. While I don't doubt that there was such a connector made, I've never seen one, and have used crimp DB25s back into the 1980's for sure.
