Yes.

Less theoretically, CAM systems that give arc coordinates to less than
3 figures of precision often fail the LinuxCNC arc consistency checks.
So often you have to change the default precision to persuade LinuxCNC
to draw the arc. (This is a consequence of pi being irrational)
