Why don't you guys meet up at the CNC Workshop, in Dearborn Michigan? It is at the Tech Shop Detroit, which is a very interesting place (as is the Henry Ford museum, and Greenfield Village, almost adjacent to Tech Shop)
The CNC Workshop could still do with some LinuxCNC discussions/seminars, and I really don't think I'll be able to make it this year. Ron Ginger would (I believe) be quite open to having some more LinuxCNC talks, even if very informal, and we do need to get out there and promote this incredible bit of software.
