Is it possible to sum 2 Z-axes in linux-cnc? Reason for the question is my mill has both a knee and quill, and I would like to put a dro on both and have have linuxcnc sum them so the reading on-sceen represents the distance between tool and job no matter which of the 2 I (or later, the software) move.
I would appreciate it if you could give any answers in baby steps as I am very new to this and still trying to find my way in the software.
