I have a simple card with a LAN9252 Ethercat chip and communication via SPI. I am able to use "siitool" to generate binary eeprom files for configuration of the chip. I am also able to soem to program eeprom, read eeprom and display EEPROM information. Soem status information calculate CRC checksum and compare to stored it is correct.
Problem is SPI port does not seem to be configured, I only get all bits high back then reading and have checked signals are sent out. Anybody have an idea about the memory layout in the eeprom file? Any special procedure to start the chip before it could be used?
